66" Metal & Glass TV Stand
Anti-tip safety strap installation instructions
You’ll need
1 Position a mounting tab (WD) on the back of your TV stand so that the tab is on the bottom, then attach the mounting
tab with a 4.5 × 10 × 8 mm machine screw (WA). Repeat this step to attach a mounting tab to the other side on your TV
stand's back.
2 Use a drill with a 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit to drill two holes in your wall approximately two inches below the position of the
mounting tabs on your stand, then insert the plastic sockets (WC) into the holes.
3 Insert two 4 × 25 × 8 mm wood screws (WB) through the holes in two of the mounting tabs (WD) and into the plastic
sockets (WC).
4 Make sure that the tabs are on the top, then tighten the screws.
5 Thread a plastic mounting strap (WE) through the tabs on your stand and on the wall, then thread the strap through
the strap hole. Repeat this step on the other side of your stand.
6 Pull the straps to tighten them, then thread the straps back through the strap holes to lock them in place.
Note: We recommend that you install the anti-tip strap as a safety precaution.
Note: You can use a hammer or rubber mallet to lightly tap the sockets.
