Hand Piece Testing to IT0033 Issue 2
The process for testing all customer supplied hand pieces is
identical to the console testing, with two additional recorded values
and is recorded on IT0033, one hand piece per IT
23kHz Straight hand piece
23kHz Angled hand piece
Hand Piece Full Function Testing
36kHz Straight hand piece
Additional recorded values per hand piece
Recovery
The time taken for the amplitude level to return to its pre-
set level when the load is removed with vibration on
Must be less than 2 seconds
Coolant flow
Measured from the cooling water flow rate jig
Must be greater than 35cc/min.
The serial number of the console and the tip type used for
testing should also be recorded on IT 0033
