The Intel
®
Workstation Board S5000XVN provides eight DIMM sockets in two branches.
Each branch contains two channels:
• Branch 1 contains Channel A and Channel B
• Branch 2 contains Channel C and Channel D
Each channel contains two DIMM sockets:
• Channel A, nearest to the center of the workstation board, consists of DIMM sockets
A1 and A2
• Channel B consists of DIMM sockets B1 and B2
• Channel C consists of DIMM sockets C1 and C2
• Channel D consists of DIMM sockets D1 and D2
