Record Safety Tabs on Cassette Tapes
To disable a tape so it cannot be recorded over, locate and remove the safety tab
opposite the tape opening.
Holding the tape with the opening facing down, the tab to the upper left corresponds to
the side facing you. (See Picture 2.)
