5. DRP(Digital Record and Playback)
- When the TALK/REC key is pressed, "-RECORD-" will be displayed and the system becomes Record Ready
mode. (the paging zones should not be selected in the beginning)
* To cancel recording and enter into the previous mode, press the ALL/ESC Key.
- Press and hold the TALK/REC key one more time to start recording. When "-" on the monitor zone starts
rotating, new message can be recorded through paging microphone. Press the TALK/REC Key one more time
when recording is completed. The prerecorded message is automatically deleted and the system returns to the
previous state.
6. Serial Communication
- RS-422 is the communication method used to interface the PX-0288, RM-88, LM-88, and the PS-88.
7. Fire Alarm
- Contact point input port on the back is comprised of a 9 pin connector which allows each zone report trouble
(fire) separately.
- When the alarm signal is activated, the letter "F" will appear in the display of the effected zone and a
prerecorded emergency announcement will be sent to that zone. Only a PAGING will have higher priority
than the emergency announcement. When the alarm has ended, the system is restored to the previous
settings.
8. Priorities
- 5 levels of priority exist, #1 is the highest and #5 is the lowest. (see below.)
#1 Paging Mic
#2 Fire Alarm
#3 Remote Mic Station
#4 Remote Audio Source
#5 Local Audio Source
