Turn your boiler off using the switch. Always unplug the boiler before installing the thermostat.
Position the thermostat away from draughts, heat sources, and direct sunlight at the correct height.
Fix the back plate to the wall using rawlplugs and screws or M3 bolts for a junction box.
Insert wires into the connector, ensuring wire cross-section is between 0.2 and 0.75 mm².
Connect the thermostat to the boiler using a cable up to 50m, consulting the boiler manual for instructions.
Slip the thermostat onto the back plate along the top edge and click it into place along the bottom edge.
Troubleshoot a blank screen by plugging in the boiler and checking wiring and connection.
An 'E' error code indicates a hardware error; the thermostat will restart or may need replacement.
An 'F' display indicates a boiler fault; consult the boiler manual for error code meanings.
A flashing dot indicates the boiler is not Smart Power compatible and the thermostat will not work.
Flashing 'Ot' means OpenTherm communication between thermostat and boiler is not responding.
Flashing 'FILL' indicates low system pressure; the system may need topping up. Consult boiler manual.
Standby mode shows the current room temperature or is hidden. Boiler is in standby, no heat required.
Active mode indicates the boiler is on and heat is required, displaying the current temperature.
Tap the dot to activate '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired temperature.
Touch '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds to open the main panel for control or info.
Access control panel to adjust settings by touching '+' and '-' buttons; confirm selections with the centre dot.
Set thermostat to hide or display current room temperature permanently (ON/OFF).
Tap '+' or '-' buttons to adjust display brightness to desired level (10 levels available).
Correct measured temperature by up to +/-4 °C in 0.1 °C increments to compensate for position.
Select either Celsius or Fahrenheit as the desired unit for temperature display.
Change how measured room temperature is displayed (0.1°C or 0.5°C).
Select control response time (e.g., 'slow') for different heating systems like underfloor or radiators.
