Understanding Pause Mode
Use Pause mode to momentarily stop printing or to cancel a current
print job. When you pause the printer, the Pause mode screen appears.
Use the Feed button to both pause and resume printing.
The PB21 and PB31 in Pause Mode
To enter Pause mode
• Press the Feed button while the printer is printing.
To resume printing
• Press the Feed button.
To cancel a print job
1 Press the Feed button to pause printing (Fingerprint, IPL, or
ESC/P).
2 Press the Information button (or soft key) to cancel the print
job (Fingerprint or IPL) or press and hold the Pause button in
ESC/P.

Use Setup mode to change the settings on the printer.
