Why is the pump not working in my Intex Swimming Pool?
    • N
      Nicholas RiversAug 22, 2025
If the pump of your Intex Swimming Pool doesn’t work, start by filling the pool to the correct water level. Then, clean the strainer screens at the pool inlet. Check for air leaks on the intake hose by tightening the hose nuts and inspecting the hose for damage. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, contact the Intex service center, as the motor may be faulty or the impeller jammed.

What to do about a small leak from the air jet valve when the Intex Swimming Pool pump is on?
    • S
      Stacy MckinneySep 5, 2025
If there is a small leak from the air jet valve when the pump is on, remove all accessories (such as solar mat, auto pool cleaner, LED light) from the water circulation line and place the air jet valve cap over the air jet valve. Do not cover the air jet valve with the valve cap under normal situation or when the pump is operating.

What to do if my Intex 126340GN inlet threaded air connector / air jet valve is leaking?
    • E
      Eric GuerraSep 4, 2025
If the inlet threaded air connector or air jet valve is leaking, try tightening or reinstalling the plunger valve. Ensure the air jet valve is tight and facing up. If the internal seal is blocked, turn the pump on for a few seconds, then off, and repeat three times. If the seal is dirty, remove the air jet valve, flush out dirt with water, and replace the valve. If the valve is broken, replace it with a new one.

Why is my Intex 126340GN timer inaccurate or can't be set?
    • J
      Jennifer TurnerSep 2, 2025
If the timer is inaccurate or cannot be set, the inner timer might be defective. Try turning off the pump and restarting it 5 minutes later. If that doesn't work, reset the timer. If problems persist, contact Intex service center.

    • D
      Dylan SheltonSep 1, 2025
To address a leaking hose, first, try tightening or reinstalling the hose nut securely. If the leak persists, check for a missing or damaged o-ring/L-shape o-ring at the hose connection fitting and ensure it is in place.

Why is sand flowing back into my Intex 126340GN?
    • B
      Brittany RobertsAug 30, 2025
If sand is flowing back into the pool, it could be due to the sand being too small. Use only No. 20 silica sand with a particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85 mm (0.018 to 0.033 inches) and a Uniformity Coefficient less than 1.75. Alternatively, the sand bed may be calcified, in which case you should change the sand.

What to do if my Intex Swimming Pool filter doesn’t clean the pool?
    • G
      Gary MosleyAug 29, 2025
If your filter isn’t cleaning the pool, consider these possible causes. Adjust the chlorine and pH levels, consulting your local swimming pool supply store for guidance. Ensure the tank is loaded with filter sand according to the sand loading instructions. Verify that the 6-way valve is set to the “FILTER” position. If the pool is excessively dirty, operate the filter for longer periods. Also, clean the strainer screen at the inlet to prevent restricted water flow.

What to do if Intex 126340GN filter motor fails to start?
    • T
      Thomas LeeAug 27, 2025
If the filter motor fails to start, there are several possible causes. First, ensure the line cord is plugged into a 3-wire outlet protected by a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, or RCD. If the GFCI/RCD circuit breaker has tripped, reset it. If it repeatedly trips, your electrical system may have a defect, so turn off the breaker and call an electrician. It's also possible the motor is too hot; in this case, let it cool down before restarting.

Why is my Intex 126340GN Swimming Pool 6-way valve/cover leaking?
    • J
      janicebrownAug 26, 2025
If the 6-way valve or cover is leaking, first remove the 6-way valve cover and ensure the o-ring is in place. If the o-ring is dirty, clean it with garden hose water. Also, make sure the flange clamp is securely tightened. If the issue persists, the 6-way valve may be damaged, and you should contact an Intex service center.
