Filter Pump Compatibility: The pool is designed to connect to an Intex Krystal Clear™ filter pump, which helps maintain water cleanliness. The manual recommends replacing filter cartridges every two weeks.
Electrical Requirements (for filter pump): If a filter pump is used, it must be connected to a grounding type receptacle protected by a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) or residual current device (RCD). Usage Features
Setup:
- Site Selection: The pool must be set up on an absolutely flat, level, compacted, and firm ground surface, free from mud, sand, or loose soil. It should not be placed on decks, balconies, or platforms. A minimum of 4 feet of space around the pool is required to prevent children from climbing into it.
- Inflation: The top ring of the pool is inflated using a manual air pump. Over-inflation should be avoided.
- Filling: The pool is filled with water, which causes the inflated top ring to rise and the pool walls to take shape. The recommended fill line is indicated on the pool liner.
- Assembly Time: Estimated assembly time is 10-30 minutes, with a team of 2 people recommended for setup. No tools are required for assembly.
- Hose Connections: The pool includes connections for a filter pump, with two plug tracks for the inlet and outlet pump outlets.
Safety:
- Adult Supervision: Continuous, active, and vigilant supervision by a competent adult is required at all times, especially for weak swimmers and non-swimmers, and children under five who are at the highest risk of drowning.
- Safety Barriers: It is recommended to install a barrier (and secure doors/windows) to prevent unauthorized access. Pool covers and alarms are helpful but not substitutes for supervision.
- Rescue Equipment: Keeping rescue equipment (e.g., a ring buoy) and a working phone with emergency numbers near the pool is advised.
- No Diving: Users are warned never to dive into shallow bodies of water to prevent serious injury or death.

- Drying: After draining, the pool and all parts must be completely dry before storage. Air drying the liner in the sun is recommended, with talcum powder sprinkled to prevent vinyl from sticking.
- Folding: Specific instructions are provided for folding the liner into a compact square shape for storage.
- Storage Conditions: The liner and accessories should be stored in a dry, temperature-controlled location between 32°F (0°C) and 104°F (40°C). The original packing can be used for storage.
Maintenance Features
Water Quality and Chemicals:
- Regular Cleaning: The pool should be kept clean and clear. The pool floor must be visible at all times from the outside barrier of the pool.
- Chemical Treatment: Proper water balance and chemical treatment are crucial for hygiene and extending pool life. Users should consult water treatment guidelines in the user manual and follow chemical manufacturer's directions.
- Filter Cartridge Replacement: Spare filter cartridges should be kept on hand and replaced every two weeks.
- Rainwater Drainage: In case of excessive rain, rainwater should be drained immediately to prevent damage and overfilling.
Troubleshooting:
The manual includes a troubleshooting section for common pool problems:
- Algae: Greenish water, slippery liner, or bad odor. Cause: Chlorine and pH level need adjustment. Solution: Shock treatment, adjust pH, maintain chlorine.
