What to do if I see white flakes in the water with my Intex L ZS6220 Swimming Pool Vacuum?
    • D
      Daniel JohnsonAug 18, 2025
If you notice white flakes in the water while using your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum, it's likely due to excessive calcium hardness in the pool water. To fix this, drain approximately 20 to 25% of the pool water and refill with fresh water to lower the calcium hardness. Also, inspect the electrolytic cell for scale buildup and clean it if needed.

What to do if Intex L ZS6220 shows LED Panel Code Flash & Alarm On?
    • K
      kennethcoxNov 2, 2025
If your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum displays a flashing LED panel code and an alarm, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the filter pump is properly attached and operating. If your unit uses plunger valves, make sure they are open. Clear any debris or dirt from the filter cartridge and cell. Also, release any trapped air in the circulation line. Check that the inlet and outlet hoses are correctly oriented, reversing them if needed. Clean the flow sensor, especially around the hinge. Firmly plug the flow sensor into its receptacle. Reset the timers on both the filter pump and the Ozone & Saltwater System to resolve any inner timer conflicts. Inspect the electrolytic cell for dirt or scale and clean if necessary. Ensure the cell cord is firmly plugged into its receptacle. Add sal...

Why does my Intex L ZS6220 Swimming Pool Vacuum say INSUFFICIENT CHLORINE?
    • G
      glennmichealNov 10, 2025
The 'INSUFFICIENT CHLORINE' message on your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum can occur for several reasons. You might need to increase the daily operating time of the Ozone & Saltwater System. Check the salt level with a test kit and adjust if it's below 2000 ppm. Chlorine loss can happen due to intense sunlight, so use a pool cover when the pool is not in use or when the unit is operating. An increased bather load can also deplete chlorine levels, so increase the system's operating time accordingly. Inspect the electrolytic cell for clogs or dirt and clean it if necessary. Additionally, high UV level exposure can reduce chlorine, so cover the pool for 2 days while the device is running and then test the water. If the pool is clean and clear, add stabilizer to the water and retest with the devic...
