What to do if my Intex ZX50 doesn’t move?
    • M
      Michael LopezJul 28, 2025
If your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum isn’t moving, make sure the filter pump is working and within the flow rate of 900 - 1500 gallons/hour (3407 - 5678 liters/hour). Lift the cleaner out of the water to see if water flows from the outlet on top. Securely tighten the hose collar nut and connect the hose to the pool water outlet. Check if the gearbox is stuck by removing the cleaner base and manually rotating the wheels; if they don't turn, the unit may need replacement. Also, ensure all air is removed from the filter pump and hoses. If problems persist, contact Intex Service Center.

What to do if my Intex ZX50 Swimming Pool Vacuum movement is very slow?
    • J
      Jerry VanceAug 1, 2025
If your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum's movement is very slow, you should check and clean the debris net and micro-screen. Also, clean or replace the filter pump cartridge. If you're using a sand filter, backwash it to ensure the sand media is clean. See your sand filter owner’s manual.

Why does my Intex ZX50 Swimming Pool Vacuum lift off the pool floor?
    • M
      Mitchell LopezAug 5, 2025
Your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum might lift off the pool floor if there's air in the hose and cleaner; ensure you evacuate all the air. Also, very dirty pool water or algae on the walls can cause this; balance the pool water chemistry, adjusting chlorine and pH levels if the water is green, brown, or black. Check that the pump flow rate is within the specified range; if it's less than 900 gal/h (3407 liters/h), consider changing to a pump with a higher flow rate. See pool owner’s manual.

What to do if Intex ZX50 can not pick up the Leaves on pool floor?
    • J
      Jennifer Evans PhDAug 9, 2025
If your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum cannot pick up leaves, remove the brushes from the underside and put the cleaner back into the pool. Also, clean all debris from the cleaner after using it continuously for 2-3 hours.

Why my Intex ZX50 Swimming Pool Vacuum takes longer time to reverse direction?
    • X
      xbakerAug 14, 2025
This is normal, as the auto cleaner reversing time is dictated by the size of the filter pump flow rate.
  • T
    Thomas CoxAug 17, 2025
Why sediments are stirred up from the Intex ZX50 Swimming Pool Vacuum?
    • B
      Brandon WoodsAug 18, 2025
As the Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum moves around, fine sediments on the pool floor will be stirred up, causing the water to be cloudy, which is normal. To resolve this, run the filtration system and the cleaner longer. The filtration system will filter out the fine sediments, while the cleaner will pick up heavy debris. Remember to check and clean the filtration media and debris net more frequently.

    robertogriffinAug 22, 2025
What to do if Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum debris net is clogged?
    • D
      daviscameronAug 22, 2025
If the debris net of your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum is clogged and the cleaner shuts off, it may be due to algae in the pool. Treat the pool water with algaecide and wait for the algae to shed before using the cleaner again. Remember to check and clean the debris net more frequently. Maintain proper pool water chemistry; see your pool owner’s manual for more details. See your local pool supply specialist for algae treatment solutions.
