What to do if Intex ZX100 Swimming Pool Vacuum doesn't move?
    • E
      Erica JohnsonJul 28, 2025
If your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum isn't moving, first, ensure the filter pump is operating. Lift the cleaner out of the water to check if water flows from the exhaust port (front or rear). The flow should alternate every 30-100 seconds. If there's no water flow, check that the hose is correctly attached to the pool's water return connector. Also, make sure the pool floor is flat and level, as wrinkles or bulges can hinder movement.

Why is my Intex ZX100 hose tangled?
    • K
      Kenneth BentleyAug 1, 2025
Your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum hose might be tangling due to several reasons. A dirty filter screen reduces the cleaner's force, so check and clean the debris net and micro-screen more often. Ensure the water temperature is between 25-45 ºC (77~113 ºF). Make sure the hose elbow is closed and securely locked. If the hose is twisted, stretch it out by slowly pulling the cleaner across the pool. You can also disconnect the hose and let it warm up under the sun. When not in use, clean the hose and store it indoors.

What to do if Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum movement is very slow?
    • S
      Sara SmithAug 6, 2025
If your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum's movement is very slow, try these steps: Check and clean the debris net and micro-screen. Clean or replace the filter pump cartridge. If you're using a sand filter, backwash it to clean the sand media. The cleaner's speed is also related to the filtration system flow rate, so consider changing to a higher pump flow rate.

What to do if Intex ZX100 cleaner floats from the bottom?
    • J
      James WilliamsAug 10, 2025
If your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum floats from the bottom of the pool, start by evacuating all the air in the hose and cleaner. Ensure your pool water chemistry is balanced; if the water is green, brown, or black, adjust the chlorine and pH levels. Also, check if the pump flow rate is within the specified range of 1600-3500 gph (6056-13248 L/h) and that the pressure release valve 'button' is in the correct setting according to the filtration system pump flow rate.

What to do if Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum debris net is clogged?
    • D
      Dr. Ariana SnyderAug 14, 2025
If the debris net of your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum is clogged and the cleaner shuts off, it might be due to algae in the pool. Treat the pool water with algaecide and wait for the algae to shed before using the cleaner. Clean the debris net more frequently. Also, if there's too much algae or dust in the water, clean the debris net, filter cartridge, or backwash the sand media more frequently until the water is clearer.

Why Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum can not pick up the leaves on pool floor?
    • C
      codycampbellAug 19, 2025
If your Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum can't pick up leaves on the pool floor, it could be due to the size of the leaves. If the leaves are larger than the suction outlet, use a skimmer net first. If the leaves are smaller, remove the brush set of the cleaner for better effect. Also, if there are too many leaves, empty the dirt from the cleaner base more frequently.

Why Intex ZX100 Swimming Pool Vacuum stirs up sediments from the pool floor?
    • R
      Robert DiazAug 22, 2025
As the Intex Swimming Pool Vacuum moves around, fine sediments on the pool floor will be stirred up causing the water to be cloudy. This is normal. It helps the filter pump to clean the pool water. Run the filtration system and the cleaner longer. The filtration system will filter out the fine sediments suspended in the water, while the cleaner will pick up the heavy debris on the floor. Check and clean the filtration media and the debris net more frequently.
