Introduction
The purpose of the Windows-based Firmware Upgrade Utility is to provide an automated process for upgrading all
GCS1716 switches in an installation. The program comes as part of a Firmware Upgrade Package that is specic
for each device. As new rmware versions become available, they will be posted on our website. Check the
website regularly to nd the latest information and packages.
Downloading the Firmware Upgrade Package
To download the rmware upgrade package:
From a computer that is not part of your KVM installation, go to our website and choose the model 1.
name that relates to your device. A list of available rmware upgrades will appear.
Choose the upgrade package that you wish to install (usually the most recent) and download it to your 2.
computer.
