plug.You’llneedtodecidethewirecounts(upto4)and
wire gauge (depends on total current the device will
draw).Forexample,ifthemaximumcurrentdrawnper
pairis5A,youprobablyneedAWG20wires.
Solderingwork(orothermeans)isneededtoattachthe
wires.Thereare4conductorsinsidethisminiDIN
connector.Makesureyoumark/rememberwhichwire
eachofthemissolderedto.

A non‐assembled DIN‐422 plug has 7 small parts, as
shownbelow.
1. Selectacorrectwire/wirebundle.Cuttoaproper
length. Strip the plastic coating outside the wire.
Solder them to the short pins on the plug. Please
note that 4 pins on the plug are NOT placed
uniformly.(see2)
2. Inserttheplugtothechassewithtwoslotsaligned
to the spring reeds and two pins with wider
separation on top of the chasse with alignment
notch.Pushtheplugallthewayin.
3. Bendthemetalwingstolockthecable.
4. Inserttheblackspringstopringfromthewireend
andaligntwostudsalongtothespringreeds.
