Overview

The Babysense HD S2 Video Baby Monitor is a wireless digital video baby monitor designed to help parents watch, listen, and talk to their baby. It is available in models with 1 or 2 cameras.

Function Description:

The Babysense HD S2 is a comprehensive monitoring system that includes a Parent Unit (monitor) and one or more Baby Units (cameras). The system allows for real-time video and audio transmission from the baby's room to the Parent Unit. Key functions include:

  • Video Monitoring: Provides a clear view of the baby, with a 5.0" HD LCD screen (1280x720 pixels) on the Parent Unit.
  • Audio Monitoring: Enables parents to hear their baby's sounds.
  • Two-Way Talk: Allows parents to talk to their baby or a partner in the baby's room via the Baby Unit.
  • Lullaby & White Noise: Features 5 pre-programmed lullabies and white noise to soothe the baby to sleep, controlled remotely from the Parent Unit.
  • VOX Mode: A sound-activated standby mode that conserves battery. The Parent Unit's screen turns off when no sound is detected for 30 seconds and reactivates when the Baby Unit registers sound above a set sensitivity level.
  • Split Screen: For models with two or more cameras, this function allows viewing images from two Baby Units side-by-side on the Parent Unit.
  • Temperature Monitoring: Displays the temperature in the baby's room via a sensor on the Baby Unit, with an automatic alert for temperatures too high (90°F/31°C and higher) or too low (55°F/15°C and lower).
  • Night Light: An integrated night light on the Baby Unit (22) can be remotely activated and adjusted for intensity.
  • Zoom Mode: Offers 2x and 4x digital zoom options for a closer view of the baby.
  • Scan Mode: Automatically switches between paired Baby Units to display video from each camera in a loop.
  • Warning Alerts: Provides acoustic "beep" sounds for low battery, high/low temperature alerts, or when out of range. The volume of these alerts can be adjusted.
  • Frequency Setting: Allows selection of 60Hz (for US) or 50Hz (for EU) frequency formats to reduce screen flickering in different lighting environments.
