Lost communication with the air suspension control unit
1. Lost communication with the air suspension control
unit description of function
The air suspension control unit communicates with the
meter and ECM via CAN. The meter determines CAN
communication errors when signals from the air
suspension control unit are not input, and displays
communication system failure in the multi-display.
2. Lost communication with the air suspension control

Inspection when communication system failure is
displayed on the multi-display
1. Check the air suspension control system.
2. Check for DTCs related to CAN communication
using a scan tool.
Note：
・ If a DTC related to communication with ECM
has been detected, inspect the applicable
DTC.
3. Turn OFF the ignition switch.
4. Remove all control units connected to the CAN
communication circuit.
5. Check for an open circuit in the CAN
communication circuit.
6. If a problem is found, repair the CAN
communication circuit.
7. If a problem is not found, replace the air suspension
control unit.
