FOR THE INSTALLER
Connecting the heat pump to the heating system
Table 2: Mixing ratio in per cent by weight
Example:
200 metres of hose type 40/35 with anti-freeze gives 200 x 0.29 litres ant-freeze/metre = 58 litres of anti-
freeze and 200 x 0.71 litres of water/metre = 142 litres water.

2. Fill the barrel with heat transfer fl uid. The relationship between water
and anti-freeze can be found in the tables 1 and 2. Fill the water before
the anti-freeze.
3. Turn the valves on the fi lling unit so that they are in the fi lling position.
4. Turn the valves on the fi lling pump so that they are in the mixing
position.
5. Then start the fi lling pump and mix the HTF in the barrel for at least
two minutes.
Repeat the following points (6-9) for each circuit. One circuit at a time
is fi lled with heat transfer fl uid. Keep the valves closed in the other
loops during the process.
6. Turn the valves on the fi lling pump to the fi lling position and then fi ll
the coil with HTF.
