TESTING AND TROUBLESHOOTING
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Verify that:
Unit does not turn on.
9 Power cord is plugged into the monitor and the AC outlet
.
9 Line Voltage selector is in the appropriate position.
9 Fuses are not blown.
9 The ON switch is pressed.
Trigger pulse is not functional
9 Trigger pulse is turned on (red mark over the ECG
waveform).
9 The Auxiliary port connector is plugged into the monitor.
9 ECG size is optimal (select Lead II)
Erratic ECG waveform. Heart Rate is
not counting.
9 ECG waveform has enough amplitude (Select Lead II).
9 Electrodes placement (see ECG section for proper
placement diagram).
9 ECG electrodes have enough conductive gel.
System Interlock symbol does not
show connection (Only 3050, 3100,
3150, and 3200)
9 Auxiliary port is connected
Unit does not indicate “ARMED.”
(Only 3100, 3150, and 3200)
9 System interlock is connected (auxiliary port connected).
9 Patient ID is entered.
9 X ray function is off.
“DISK WRITE FAILED” message
appeared. (Only 3100 and 3150)
9 There is a 3.5” floppy disk inside the floppy drive.
9 The floppy drive is not full.
