INSTALLATION
Locate
the lowest
point
in the bilge. Femove
the
lower straioer base
from the main housing
by depress'
ing the two tabs firmly
and
pulling
to
separate. Do
not attempt to
disassemble the six
screws from the
pump
housing. Place the strainer
base in the
desired
location and
rotate until rhe
pump
discharge
port
will
be level or
pointed
slightly
upward when
the
oumo base is
mounted and reassembled
to
the
main
housing.

N4ark the
hull in the
tour mounting hole
locations on
the strainer base
and drill
for No, l0
(4.8
mm) sel{
tapping screws,
Use only
stainless
steel
fasteners.
l\,4ount strainer base with 4 screws.
(Do
not crack
the base by
overtiqhtening
if the
hull
surface
is
uneven.) Reassemble
pump
housing to
strainer
base.
Connect
1-1/8
inch diameter
hose to
discharge nozzle
and secure
with
corrosion resistant
clamp.
lvlake sure
that the hose
is lree of
kinks, or sharp
bends. Be
sure
that the
hose is above
the discharge
port
at all
points
to avoid
airlock.
