  If your Jacobsen Lawn Mower engine won't start, make sure the parking brake is engaged, the traction pedal is in neutral, and the mow switch is off. Check the interlock system and follow the correct start-up procedure. Also, ensure the glow plug has timed out by resetting the ignition switch. Inspect the battery and its connections, and fill the fuel tank with fresh fuel, changing the fuel filter if necessary. Check and bleed the fuel lines. Replace any blown fuses, test and replace any defective relays and adjust or replace the neutral switch on the traction pedal if it's out of adjustment or defective.
