MAINTENANCE
Read the safety instructions
COOLING SYSTEM
ll Provide uninterrupted air flow to the cooling
system to avoid engine overheating, especially
when operating under dirty conditions. Keep
hood screen H, radiator compartment and
radiator screen S clean and clear.
ll Rear access to the radiator compartment is
available by flipping latches L and dropping the
rear cover. Top access is available by lifting
the hinged hood.
ll Check in front of radiator by lifting the hood,
removing knob K and pivoting radiator back.
ll If compressed air or water are used to clean
radiator or screen, do not use high pressure.
ll Check the level of radiator coolant in overflow
bottle. Top-up with a 50% antifreeze solution
when needed.
ll Keep the radiator filled with a 50% antifreeze
solution.
Draining and refilling the radiator
1. To drain radiator, remove bottom hose. replace
and secure when flow stops.
2. Remove radiator pressure cap. Fill radiator
with premixed 50% antifreez solution to the
bottom of the filler kneck.
3. Start the engine and run at 1/4 throttle until the
engine thermostat opens (coolant will begin to
drop below the kneck).
4. With the engine running, add coolant slowly to
maintain the level at the bottom of the filler
kneck.
5. When coolant level stabilises, replace and
resecure radiator pressure cap.
