HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
ll Check hydraulic fluid level in plastic sight tube.
Keep fluid level about 1/2 way up sight tube S

ll Remove plug to drain hydraulic fluid.
ll Fill through one of brass plugs B Fig.21 at top of
reservoir.
ll Hydraulic fluid filter is cartridge type. Replace
entire unit as needed.
1. When changing filter element, fill filter with
clean hydraulic fluid.
2. Start engine and idle for 15 seconds.
3. Stop engine and check reservoir level.
4. Start engine and idle for another 15 seconds.
5. Stop engine and check reservoir
6. Start engine and idle for 5 minutes to remove
air from hydraulic system.
7. Check reservoir level again.
Hydraulic Test Ports - Available to check hydraulic
pressure in the following systems:
l A Fig.26 - Deck drive pressure 207bar (3,000
psi)
l B Fig.27 Four wheel drive pressure 172bar
(2,500 psi)
l C Fig.28 - Lift and power steering 83bar
(1200 psi)
The port is located on the left side of the
pressure manifold below the 4 wheel drive
valve
