SAFETY WARNINGS
• Observe the country-specific standards for installation, mounting and configuration.
• Only use Jacques accessories that comply with the product’s technical specifications.
• Disconnect the Ethernet cable for any maintenance of the device.
• Do not make any modifications to the device.
• All external connected circuits shall fulfil the requirements for Electrical Energy Source Class
1 (ES1) and Limited Power Source (LPS) according to IEC/EN 62368-1.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
• See Mounting Solutions for methods of mounting a JIB product.
• Jacques JIB and optional accessories shall be installed or replaced by trained and qualified
personnel only.
• Before attempting to install please ensure your package contains the list of specified parts.
• Do not install the device on unstable walls or on surfaces which cannot support the device’s
weight.
• Make sure the surface mount kit not subject to torsional forces (e.g. on uneven walls).
• Avoid mounting unit in direct sunlight.
• Connect a network cable into the RJ45 connection located on the front of the product which
can also be connected to an IEEE 802.3af PoE PSE compliant network switch or
management device.
• Before powering the device, ensure all cables are correctly connected and not damaged.
