SAFETY WARNINGS
Observe the country-specific standards for installation, mounting and configuration.
Only use Jacques accessories that comply with the product’s technical specifications.
Disconnect the Ethernet cable for any maintenance of the device.
Do not make any modifications to the device.
All external connected circuits shall fulfil the requirements for Electrical Energy Source Class
1 (ES1) and Limited Power Source (LPS) according to IEC/EN 62368-1.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
See Mounting Solutions for methods of mounting a JIB product.
Jacques JIB and optional accessories shall be installed or replaced by trained and qualified
personnel only.
Before attempting to install please ensure your package contains the list of specified parts.
Do not install the device on unstable walls or on surfaces which cannot support the device’s
weight.
Make sure the surface mount kit not subject to torsional forces (e.g. on uneven walls).
Avoid mounting unit in direct sunlight.
Connect a network cable into the RJ45 connection located on the front of the product which
can also be connected to an IEEE 802.3af PoE PSE compliant network switch or
management device.
Before powering the device, ensure all cables are correctly connected and not damaged.
