Water heating
The water in the tub is heated by the electric heater (or to the heat
exchanger) located in the tub compartment. Temperature adjust-
ment is managed based on specific parameters to be set from the
control panel.
XPress the key Up/Down : the display will show the cur-
rently memorized temperature, the respective symbol appears
and the LED comes on.
XPress the key Up/Down
again to change the displayed
value from a minimum of 15 °C to a maximum of 40 °C (59÷104 °F).
NOTE: if you press the upper part of the key, the displayed value
increases. If you press the lower part, it decreases.
If the display is equipped with two separate keys, press the key
Up to increase the value or the keyDown to decrease it.
XTo show the temperature of the water in the tub again, do
not touch any key for about 5 seconds.
Maintenance of minimum temperature of water in tub and
anti-freeze protection of the pipes (“Smart Winter”).
The system software of your hot tub is designed to provide e-
cient, rational management of any hazardous situations which may
occur due to excessively cold temperatures and freezing of the water.
For further information on water heating and system safe-
guards, refer to the product’s installation manual.
NOTE: when the anti-freeze protection is active, the display will
show the message ICE.
Keyboard lock
To prevent the modication of set parameters, there is the option of
activating the “keyboard lock” function.
XTo activate this function, simply press the rst two keys to the
right of the control panel at the same time for approximately 5
seconds until the message Loc appears on the display followed
by the water temperature value.
It is still possible to activate the main hot tub functions (pump,
light and blower where provided) where this function is active.
XTo disable this function, simply press these same keys for ap-
proximately 5 seconds. The water temperature value will be pre-
sented on the display.
Abnormal operating conditions
- alarm signals -
Alarms are indicated on the display, with the corresponding error
code. You will continue to see the code if the alarm condition per-
sists.
Here is a list of the various alarms that may appear. Refer to the
product’s installation manual for a detailed description of the vari-
ous messages that may appear on the display.
XFLO
The heater does not turn on.
- Contact an authorized Jacuzzi® service centre.
XHOH The temperature is higher than or equal to 48 °C (118 °F)
(the heater is turned o)
DO NOT ENTER THE WATER
- If the alarm condition persists, try turning the switch up the line
from the hot tub o and back on. If the signal stays on, contact
an authorized Jacuzzi® service centre.
XHoExcessive water temperature
DO NOT ENTER THE WATER
- If present, remove cover from hot tub.
- If the excessive temperature increase is due to sunlight, add
cold water to the hot tub.
When the temperature has dropped to below 43 °C (109 °F), the
hot tub should re-activate automatically. If it does not, discon-
nect the power supply and contact an authorized Jacuzzi® ser-
vice centre.
XH2O (if installed) Water level too low.
It’s not possible to activate the pump.
- Fill with water until the message disappear.
XrPF Defective temperature probe.
DO NOT ENTER THE WATER
It is not possible to activate any function.
- Contact an authorized Jacuzzi® service centre.
XHPFActivation of safety thermostat.
It is not possible to activate the electric heater.
(overheating; this may be due to irregular water ow).
- Try turning the switch up the line from the hot tub o and back
on (system reset). If the signal stays on, contact an authorized
Jacuzzi® service centre.
