11. Turn off power to the swim spa at the circuit breaker, then drain the swim spa as out-
lined in Secon 13.2.
12. Refill the swim spa with clean tap water from the garden hose unl water covers all jets
but does not touch the boom of the lowest headrest with all headrests in their lowest
posion (DO NOT OVERFILL!)
CAUTION: TO DECREASE BUILD UP ON COMPONENTS AND MINIMIZE ACRYLIC DAMAGE!
Never fill with water from a water soener. If your water is extremely “hard”, it is
preferable to fill half way with hard water and the rest of the way with soened wa-
ter. Water that is too so can be corrosive to metal components.
13. Consult your authorized Jacuzzi dealer for chemical recommendaons, then add chemi-
cals to swim spa water to achieve a constant sanizer reading within the levels recom-
mended on the inside cover of this manual.
14. Turn on jet pumps when adding chemicals to ensure proper mixing and leave your swim
spa cover open unl the sanizer level becomes stable to protect pillows and plasc
knobs from chemical aack. Refer to the inside cover of this manual.
WARNING: RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY!
To decrease the risk of injury, drowning or entrapment, never leave your swim spa un-
aended for any reason while the cover is open and accessible, especially to small chil-
dren and animals.
To decrease the possibility of contracng a waterborne illness (e.g. an infecon, bacteria
or virus) and/or respiratory ailments, maintain water chemistry within step 6 parame-
ters. If you or other bathers experience such a condion, disconnue use and seek medi-
cal aenon.
