15. Establish a sanitizer reading no less than 1.0 ppm free chlorine or 2.0 ppm bromine,
then allow the swim spa to set undisturbed for 8 hours. Retest water after 8 hours to
determine if sanitizer levels are stable. If sanitizer levels are stable, your swim spa is
ready for use. To ensure healthy water conditions, always maintain a constant san-
itizer reading within the levels recommended on the inside cover of this manual. If
sanitizer levels are not stable at this time, it will be necessary to repeat this proce-
dure in its entirety until stable sanitizer readings are achieved.
IMPORTANT: If the CLEARRAY® water purication system is removed from the swim spa or
is not operating eectively follow the “without CLEARAY®” chemistry parameters as dened
by the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals.
16. After adequate sanitizer levels are achieved, close all swim spa controls to maximize
heat retention when the swim spa is not in use.
