Q The Jacuzzi® hot tubs are class “1” appliances. This means that
they must be connected to the electrical mains and earthing sys-
tem permanently, without any intermediary junctions.

The building’s electrical system must be equipped
with a 0.03 A residual current device and an ecient
earthing circuit.

Make sure that the residual current device is in good
working order by pressing the TEST button, which
must trip.

Parts incorporating electrical components, with the
exception of remote-control devices, must be posi-
tioned or xed so that they cannot fall into the tub.
Live components and equipment must not be within
the reach of individuals in the hot tub.

Where the building's electrical system is not able to
guarantee a constant power supply, we recommend
installing a voltage regulator, suitably sized for the
power of the appliance, before installing the appli-
ance itself.
Q When connecting to the mains, we advise installing a multi-
pole circuit breaker, which completely disconnects the appliance
in the event of a category III overvoltage; these devices must be
positioned in an area that complies with the safety regulations.
Q The installation of electrical devices and equipment (sock-
ets, switches, etc.) near the hot tub must comply with the legal
standards and regulations in the country where the hot tub is
installed.
Q For the equipotential connection prescribed by the specic
national standards, the installer must use the terminal provided
(as per standard EN 60335.2.60) on the spa-pack (2a-b-c; 3),
identied with the symbol. In particular, ensure that all the
metal masses surrounding the hot tub, such as water pipes, gas
pipes, metal boards around the edge, etc., are equipotential.
Q The equipment is tted with an LED lighting system
compliant with the standard EN 62471.

CAUTION! Before carrying out any maintenance, discon-
nect the appliance from the electrical power supply.
