3 Slip the thread through the slit and down into the
eye of the take-up lever as shown. Draw the
thread down through the left channel.

from the right.

5 Slip the thread in the needle bar thread guide
from the left.
6 Needle bar thread guide
Thread the needle from front to back by hand or use the
built-in needle threader.
