Seam puckering with your Janome Sewing Machine can happen if the needle thread tension is too tight; try making the stitch shorter. Other possible causes include the needle thread not being threaded correctly, using a needle that's too heavy for the fabric, or having a stitch length that's too long for the fabric. The foot pressure might not be adjusted properly, or a stabilizer may be needed when sewing very fine fabrics; apply a stabilizer in this case.
