4.2 Maintenance Work
Maintenance work should be carried out at 2-yearly intervals. JAUDT Vario butterfly valves in continuous
use or being used in extremely critical areas should be serviced annually.
The maintenance work always includes the above-mentioned inspections.
Danger of injury!
If the valve is used to meter hot substances of substances that are intolerant to the skin:
Protect yourself with safety clothing, goggles and breathing apparatus.
Notify the safety and environmental officer.
Keep a collection vessel available.
If the sealing plate is difficult to move or the rotary flap is not leak-proof
remove and dismantle JAUDT Vario butterfly valve
check bearing and replace if necessary
check sealing ring and replace if necessary
