1 Description
JAUDT Vario Butterfly valve are used for the metering and containment of materials transported in pipelines.
They are manufactured in the highest quality according to the most modern production methods and are
robust, close tightly and have very low maintenance requirements.
1.1 Validity of these Operating Instructions
These operating instructions are valid for JAUDT Vario Butterfly valve of nominal diameter 100, 150, 200,
250, 300 und 350 mm.
1.2 Identification Plate
Each JAUDT Vario Butterfly valve is fitted with an identification plate:
Please always indicate type and order number for orders of spare parts or further inquiries.
NOTE: The paint finish and accessories are not determined by the Type Number.
1.3 Supporting documents
The order confirmation is part of this operating manual. It contains the following information:

Application; the valve is designed precisely for this application.
Technical data and, if applicable, technical data for the drive unit.
Every operating manual is also supplied with the following documents:
Dimensions sheet
Operating manual and lubricants table for the motor with distribution with a motor.
Data sheet for the pulse generator (proximity switch) with distribution with a pulse generator.
Data sheet for the solenoid valve with distribution with a pneumatic drive.
ATEX supplement if the valve is used as a device in compliance with Directive 94/9/EC or in areas
where there is a potential risk of explosion
These documents are an integral part of this operating manual.
