Various different types of hitches are avalable for Fifth Wheel type coaches.
The most popular type is the "over the fender" mini hitch with two (2)
separate brackets and secondly, the newer style which is bolted directly
to the floor of the truck box through frame members.
SEVERAL, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Be sure to lower and raise tailgate of truck to avoid damage to coach
and/or tailgate.
2. Be sure hitch is locked correctly before beginning to travel.
3. Be sure to connect break-away switch Iine.
4. Be sure to connect 12 volt power Iine for stop and tail lights.
5. Be sure to raise landing jacks on coach.
6. Park trailer in a level position before beginning camping.
7, Place chocks in front and behind wheels as needed to assure coach from
movement.
