NOTE:
During break-in
period (first
500
miles) your
hubs may feel extra
warm
due to brake shoes setting in
with the brake drum.
Lug bolts must be checked at
50
md
200
miles when your
coach is new. After this, lug
bolts should be checked
periodically for safety,
especially before any Iong
trip
and
extensive braking.
Tighten lug bolts to
85-95
ft.
pounds torque using a cross
tighten sequence of
1-3-2-4.
Use a
small
quantity of
grease on the moving
mechanism to insure ease
of
operation.
On
coaches
with
surge
hydtaulic brakes, there is
no
lubrication needed
on
coupler assembly.
We recommend that you
use
conventional grease on ball
of hitch for ease
of
operation.
