9. Now, complete raising
the roof until the limit
cable (D) is almost tight
and the tent is almost
taut. DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN.
10. Inside the RV, insert the end of the bed
bow brace with the C-clamp on the bed
bow connector.
11. Push the bed bow
outward and upward
(E) while pressing on
the button farthest
from the end and slip it
into the bracket
mounted on the roof.
Release the button.
12. Install the entry door screen door. Attach
the Velcro® edges of the entrance door to
the door frame.
13. Exit the RV and pull the tent canvas bed
flaps over the bed frame corners until the
flaps are extended under the beds.
Securely attach all the Velcro®.
Condensation can be prevalent in trailers if
proper ventilation is not used. It can exist
whether or not a heater is used. We
recommend that you leave a small opening in
each bunk zipper to permit air to flow through
and allow the tent to “breathe.” This will help
minimize moisture gathering above the bunk
area on the vinyl (see Condensation).
Closing the beds
When you are ready to leave, zip all the
windows closed and roll the privacy drapes
upwards by pressing both buttons on either
side of the black locks and drawing the locks
upwards, and reverse the bed set-up process.
Make sure all equipment is properly stored and
will not obstruct the roof when lowered. If the
bed does not close easily, inspect the bed
cushions and tent canvas from the sides
looking for obstructions. Once the obstruction
is located, correct it and try again.
To avoid damaging the valance, when
securing the bottom of the entrance door,
insure the door valance is placed between the
door and the ceiling. Failure to properly
position the kitchen flip-top (if so
equipped) for travel can result in roof
damage and prevent the roof from lowering
properly.

limit cable (D)
CAUTION
If the roof limit cable is raised too high, the
lifter system and/or tent damage could
occur and the entrance door will not fit
properly.

bow brace (E)
WARNING
Ensure that all Velcro® fasteners are
mated and securely fastened. Loose areas
could result in openings large enough for
an infant, child or adult to fall through.
Never leave small children in the camper
unattended.
Fig. 8.12 Tent usage
CAUTION
Let the tent canvas dry thoroughly before
storing to prevent mildew and odors. If it is
necessary to put the tent away wet or
damp, at the earliest possible time, open
the tent canvas and allow it to dry
thoroughly. Mildew is not covered by the
Towable Limited Warranty.
