Logic Check Valve
Dismantling
1 Remove screwed cap 1.
2 Remove ‘O’-ring 2 and discard.
3 Withdraw piston 3.
4 Remove spring 4.
5 Insert a small puller into the transverse hole and
withdraw sleeve 5.
6 Remove ‘O’-ring 6 and discard.
7 Remove spring 7.
8 Remove check valve 8.
Note: Ensure internal surfaces of the sleeve are protected.
9 Screw a rod (having one end threaded M5 x 0.8), into
sleeve 9 and withdraw.
10 Remove spring 10.
11 Remove check valve 11.
Cleaning, Inspection
1 Clean all parts with clean oil and dry with compressed
air. Inspect all parts.
2 Ensure piston 3, sleeve 5, check valve 8, sleeve 9 and
check valve 11 move smoothly.
3 Check springs 4, 7 and 10 have no defects,
deformation or wear.
4 Remove slight defects by lapping.
5 Renew damaged or badly worn parts.
Assembly
Assembly is the reverse of the dismantling procedure.
Torque Setting
1 98 Nm (72 lbf ft)
