Open and Close

WARNING The engine has exposed rotating
parts. Switch off the engine before working in the
engine compartment. Do not use the machine
with the engine cover open.
Open
1. Make the machine safe.
2. Stop the engine and remove the ignition key.
3. Apply the park brake.
4. Use the ignition key to unlock the engine cover.
Refer to Figure 15.
5. Lift the engine cover.

6. Remove the bolts and washers from the floor
plate. Refer to Figure 16.
7. Lift the floor plate and clear of the machine to gain
access to the engine compartment.
8. Do not open the floor plate when the engine is
running.

Close
1. Check around the machine to make sure that no
object will become trapped with lowering of the
floor plate.
2. Use the bolts and washers to install the floor
plate. Refer to Figure 16.
3. Close the engine cover.
4. Use the ignition key to lock the engine cover.
