Emergency procedures
4.2.2 Emergency starting procedure
IMPORTANT!
Failure to observe this procedure could cause injuries or damage
due to the explosion of the battery.
Connecting the cables
1. Connect one end of the cable used for positive (+) to the
positive terminal (+) of the car with flat battery.
2. Connect the other end of the cable used for positive (+) to the
positive terminal (+) of the auxiliary battery.
3. Connect one end of the cable used for negative (-) to the
negative terminal (-) of the auxiliary battery.
4. Connect the other end of the cable used for negative (-) to an
engine earth (the visible metal part of the car engine with flat
battery) far from the battery and the fuel injection system.
