Leviathan - V2 Processor Controlled MOSFET
The Leviathan - V2 is a processor-controlled MOSFET with Bluetooth communication, designed for integration into version 2 gearboxes, replacing the original trigger contacts. It is compatible with the Tokyo Marui standard.
Function Description
The device enhances airsoft gun functionality by introducing new shooting modes, controlling the Rate of Fire (RoF), enabling pre-cocking, and providing active braking. It also includes a low battery indication and collects statistics. All controls and settings are managed via a dedicated smartphone application.
Shooting Modes (Configurable via App):
- SAFE: No response to trigger pull.
- SEMI: Fires a single shot per trigger pull.
- SEMI/BurstX: A short trigger pull fires a single shot, while a long trigger pull fires a burst (X bullets).
- Double Trigger: Fires semi when the trigger is pulled and again when it is released within 3 seconds.
- BurstX: The gun shoots a burst of X bullets per trigger pull.
- BurstX+BurstY: A short trigger pull fires BurstX bullets, and a long trigger pull fires BurstX plus BurstY bullets.
- BurstX/Full: A short trigger press fires BurstX bullets, while a long trigger press initiates auto fire.
- Full: The gun fires automatically until the trigger is released.
Burst Functions:
Allows setting a specific number of BBs to be fired on a single trigger pull. The burst will always complete. Each selector position has its own burst settings.
Rate of Fire (RoF) Control:
This feature helps manage excessively high RoF by introducing breaks between shots. It maintains a fast trigger response even at a very low RoF, simulating a real gun.
Active Brake:
Utilizes the excess energy from the motor to stop it. Lower braking intensity is gentler on motor coils. The spring is fully released, and gearbox parts are not under strain. Higher power braking is suitable for weapons with high RoF and is most effective with torque motors.
Pre-cocking:
Partially compresses the piston after firing in SEMI mode. Maximum compression is approximately 70% intensity, depending on the gun setup. This significantly reduces the delay between trigger pull and shot. Pre-cocking only works with active braking. If the trigger is held for at least 3 seconds after firing, the gun will fire again with the piston in a released position, which is recommended before storing the gun. Note that pre-cocking increases wear and tear on the gearbox.
Delay Between Shots:
Simulates the delay from gun reload or recoil. During this delay, it is not possible to shoot again. The motor vibrates briefly after the delay to indicate the gun is ready for shooting.
Low Battery Indication:
Designed for Li-xx batteries. When low battery voltage is detected, the gun vibrates after each shot, signaling that it's time to replace the battery. If the battery is discharged, the gun will vibrate instead of firing. A warning is issued if the battery is still slowly discharging.

Usage Features
Installation:
Requires advanced technician skills. The device replaces original trigger contacts. Specific steps include:
- Removing and cleaning all internals from the gearbox.
- Grinding gearbox edges for a smooth surface to prevent board damage.
- Inserting Leviathan-V2, ensuring it lies flat and transparent foil covers socket contacts.
- Adjusting the device's position and securing it with a screw and washer.
- Grinding any high screw mounting or protruding screws.
- Grinding edges in ICS gearboxes to prevent interference with contacts.
- Checking the other side of the gearbox for short circuits.
- Sticking foam to the right gearbox shell to keep the device in place.
- Placing and securing wires (blue, -battery, -motor) to the gearbox wall, especially under the motor, using super glue.
- Using the provided CNC trigger or modifying the existing trigger by grinding along a red line.
- Inserting a screw into the trigger for shorter trigger path adjustment, securing it with super glue after testing.
- Inserting the sector gear and trigger, avoiding micro switch breakage.
- Ensuring the gear does not touch the micro switch body and checking cycle detection via the app.
- Putting the gearbox shell together and checking for perfect fit.
- Grinding pins in red circles to fit wires into the gearbox.
- Checking if the top board fits without problems.
- Securing the gearbox with 3 screws for microswitch testing.
- Inserting the selector plate from front to back, avoiding micro switch breakage.
- Placing the gearbox into the lower receiver and securing it.
- Bending and leading both black wires back into the grip.
- Connecting the black wire first, ensuring correct motor polarity.
Smartphone Application:
- Install "Leviathan by JeffTron" from iOS App Store or Google Play, or use the link
https://www.jefftron.net/application.
- Connect the battery to Leviathan-V2 and pair the smartphone using the password "1234".
- Change the default gun password to a 4-digit code.
- Check micro switch responses: Grey is OFF, blue is ON. A slight delay may occur due to Bluetooth communication.
- The app displays battery voltage, microswitch check status (trigger, cycle, semi, auto), and a BB counter (total, user-resettable, power-up reset).
- The error log shows errors made during the device's lifetime, with the newest error at the top.
- Profiles can be saved, edited, deleted, and uploaded to the device.
First Time Shooting:
- Connect the battery; a short vibration indicates a successful power-up self-test.
- Set the gun to SAFE; the trigger should not respond.
- Set the gun to SEMI; it should fire once.
- Set the gun to AUTO; a short trigger pull should fire a 3-round burst, while a longer pull results in auto fire.
- If all functions work, the installation is correct. Otherwise, check the error log and troubleshooting section.
- Pair with Leviathan-V2 via the app and update firmware (requires internet connection).
Maintenance Features
Firmware Updates:
Updates fix bugs and add new features. The process takes about 1 minute and ends with a successful message and short vibration.
Troubleshooting (Startup Codes):
After battery connection, Leviathan-V2 performs a self-check, indicated by motor vibration or error beeps:

General Troubleshooting:
- Weapon doesn't react: Check battery connection, charge, motor contacts, and safety fuse.
- Weapon doesn't make shots (startup vibration made): Check trigger micro switch function.
- Selector acts incorrectly: Check selector plate micro switch function via app and correct selector plate shape.
