Flap
The flap control (Figure 7.2-2) is via a black handle located on the left-
hand side of the cockpit. The flap handle can be freed from its detent by
rotating it slightly clockwise as seen from the rear.

The flap setting is indicated on the flap indicator plate (Figure 7.2-3),
positioned just above the flap handle. It has six graduations, namely flap
settings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and
L. Setting 1 is the most negative setting and
setting L is the most positive setting.
