Deleting memory channel:
Under memory channel mode, select the channel you want delete, press and hold
the corresponding [M1] ~ [M4] key until the storage channel number displayed on
the screen disappears and a “beep-beep” sounds, indicating that the channel has
been deleted.
[MT/LOCK] key:
Keypad locks function.
1. Press and hold the [MT/LOCK] key for 2 seconds to turn on the keypad
lock function, the screen will display the “ ” icon.
2. Press and hold the [MT/LOCK] key for 2 seconds to turn off the keypad
lock function.
- When this function is on, only the [PTT] and [VOL/PUSH] switch knob is
valid.
[SQ/M1] key:
Squelch level selection.
Short press the [SQ/M1] key to display the current SQ level on the LCD. You can
select the desired SQ level by rotating the [VOL/PUSH] knob or by pressing the
[UP] / [DOWN] key on the microphone.
Available levels: 1 ~ 34 and OFF.
[VOX] key:
VOX function.
Short press the [VOX] key to turn on/off the voice control function.
[ASQ/M2] key:
Automatic squelch level selection.
Short press the [ASQ/M2] key to display the current ASQ level on the LCD. You
can select the desired ASQ level by rotating the [VOL/PUSH] knob or by pressing
the [UP] / [DOWN] keys on the microphone.
There are 1 ~ 9 levels to choose.
