5 WARRANTY POLICY
5.1 Warranty Scope
• ThislimitedwarrantycoversanydefectsinthenewJoyor
devicesaccompaniedbythislimitedwarrantystatement
foraperiodof24monthsaftertherstretailpurchasefor
the electric parts(display,controller,motorandcharger)
againstmanufacturingdefectsonareplacementbasis,
anda12monthsor2000kmwarrantyforthebattery
(whichevercomesrst)under normal installation, use,
service and maintenance.
• Onlyconsumerspurchasingthisdevicefroman
authorizedJoyorretailerorresellermayobtaincoverage
underthislimitedwarranty.
• Thiswarrantyextendstotheoriginalpurchaseronlyand
isnon-transferable.
5.2 Warranty Limitations
Thislimitedwarrantydoesnotcoveranyproblemthatis
causedby:
• Commercialuse,accident,abuse,neglect,shock,heat
orhumiditybeyondproductspecications,improper
installation,operation,maintenanceormodication.
• AnymisusecontrarytotheinstructionsintheUserManual.
• Malfunctionscausedbyotherequipment.
• Thislimitedwarrantyisvoidifaproductisreturnedwith
removed,damagedortamperedlabelsofanyalterations
(includingtheunauthorizedremovalofanycomponent
orexternalcover).
• Joyordoesnotcoverthecostofnational/international
warrantyshippingatanytime.
• Thislimitedwarrantyisvalidwiththeoriginalreceiptof
purchasefromtheauthorizeddealer.
• Excludesconsumablewearingttings.
• Excludespartswithphysicaldamages,incomplete/
brokencableconnections.
• Excludesmisuse,modication,negligenceanduseofthe
scooterinwetconditions.
• Excludesprofessionalandhireuse.
5.3 Warranty Application Process
• Joyorwillnotprovideanywarrantycoverageunless
yourclaimitincompliancewithalltermsofthislimited
warrantystatementandyoufollowtheproperreturn
procedure.
