3.7  CONNECTING TO THE GPS COMPASS 
 
 
Connect a gyro equipment or equivalent that provide a below turn rate, otherwise the performance of 
signal process and target tracking decrease.

3.7.1 JLR-10 
 
Connection to JRC's GPS compass JLR-10 is possible.

  When using JRC's cable CFQ-6934 
  Using JRC's dedicated cable CFQ-6934 makes it possib

e to easily connect to JLR-10.    Using the cable 
also makes it possible to receive bearing signals from JLR-10 as well as receive latitude and longitude 
information as NMEA data. 
 
 
 
JLR-10 data output settings must be changed. 
For details, refer to JLR-10 instruction manual. 
 
To obtain NMEA data, such as position information, from other GPS device by obtaining bearing data from 
JLR
-
10, make connections to the GPS device in the procedures described in section 3.6 instead of using the 
cable having the above-mentioned "GPS (IND)" label that is extending from JLR-10.
