Adjusting needle thread tension
First, adjust the right- and left-hands bobbin
thread tension.
Then in accordance with the bobbin thread
tension obtained, adjust the right- and left-hand
sides needle threads tension appropriately by
turning thread tension adjustments nuts

respectively. Turning the nuts clockwise will
increase the thread tension or turning them
counterclockwise to decrease it.

Adjusting bobbin thread tension
Turn bobbin thread tension adjustment screw
clockwise to increase the bobbin thread tension
or turn the screw counterclockwise to decrease
it.
As shown in the left-hand fi gure, standard
bobbin thread tension is 0.25 to 0.35N when
measuring with the tension gauge.
