8. ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE BOBBIN CASE
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the follow-
ing work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.
1) Remove the bobbin case while lifting upper knob

2) When attaching the bobbin case, insert it into the hook
shaft properly, adjust indented part

of inner hook

to lower knob

of the bobbin case, and push the
bobbin case until it goes click.

9. INSTALLING THE BOBBIN WINDER THREAD GUIDE
1) Attach bobbin winder thread guide

to the top cover
using screws

2) Adjust the position of the thread guide referring to “10.
WINDING A BOBBIN”.
3) Strike bobbin thread guide rod

into the machine arm.
