24 Prepare appliance for resale:
Procedure:
All products will be reset to factory settings and the fluid system is empty due to protection against frost.
The appliance asks the customer for the desired language and afterwards it will fill the system with water.
Initial position:
The appliance is fully working and if necessary, an exit diagnosis has been made with the animation system.
The ENA 9 cannot be reset to factory settings, this has to be done manually.
1. Switch on appliance until the following message appears on the display READY
2. Empty the system completely (frost protection) according to the manual
Turn selector switch to the position WATER
Remove and empty the water tank
Hot water will flow until the system is empty (CLOSE TAP)
Close selector switch to the position COFFEE (FILL WATER TANK)
Press the key ON/OFF to switch off the appliance
3. Turn selector switch to the position WATER
4. Switch on again the appliance
5. Press the keys ROTARY SWITCH & MAINTENANCE simultaneously, until the message OK
appears on the display
6. Switch off the appliance
7. Turn selector switch back to the position COFFEE
25 Error messages:
§ If there is a malfunction, an error message as described below is shown on the display and
5 seconds after, the appliance switches off:
Display Message Designation
ERROR 1 COFFEE: Temperature sensor notify “value below tolerance”
ERROR 2 COFFEE: Temperature sensor notify “value above tolerance”
ERROR 5 Heating up not possible
ERROR 8 “Positioning” / “Initialisation” of brewing unit not possible
ERROR 10 Heating was too hot (mains interferences received)
TOO HOT
Maintenance programs can not be carried out, as there had been used a
steam-product before
