The COMPU
LINK
REMOTE
CONTROL
SYSTEM
was
developed by JVC.
You
can
control
each
COMPU
LINK
com-
ponent
from
the remote
control
unit,
and also
perform
the
following
advanced operations
with
ease.
Automatic
source
selection
If
the attached remote cable
is
used
to
connect this
unit
to
other
JVC
components
with
COMPU
LINK-l/SYNCHRO
terminals, sources
can
be
switched
with
just one touch
of
the
unit's source selector
buttons
and the corresponding com-
ponent
will
start
to
play
automatically.
The source select
but-
ton
of
the remote
control
unit
or
the
appropriate
component's
activation
button
may also
be
used.
When
switching
from
one
component
to
another, such
as
a
cassette
(jeck,
turntable
or
CD player, the previous
component
will stop playing after
about
five
seconds.
Synchronized recording
Synchronized recording refers
to
the process whereby a
cas-
sette deck
automatically
commences recording, in synchro-
nization
with
the CD player
or
turntable.
Set
the cassette deck
to
the REC/PAUSE mode according
to
the procedures in the
instruction
manual.
When
synchronously recording
the
CD player, push the
PLAY
button
on
the
CD player.
The cassette deck enters the record mode the
moment
the
CD
player starts and synchronized recording commences.
Synchronized recording stops
automatically
when
the
CD
player stops playing
To cancel synchronized recording, push the STOP
button
of
the CD player,
turntable
or
cassette deck.
Notes:
•
When
the REC/PAUSE mode
is
set
to PAUSE after
depress-
ing
the REC
and
PLAY
buttons simultaneously, synchro-
nized recording
is
not possible. For details, refer
to
your
cassette
deck's instruction manual.
• Abnormal operation will result
if
the power supply
of
one
of the components
is
interrupted during synchronized
recording.
If
this
happens.,
push
the activation button
again
to restart.
•
Ensure
that the
COMPU
LlNK-1/SYNCHRO
terminal of
each
component
is
connected with the attached remote
cable_
Be
sure
to
read
the instruction manual
for
each
component
very
carefully.
• The
source
is
locked to CO or PHONO position during
synchronized recording
to
avoid accidental
stops
or chang-
ing
to another source. To
change
the source, first
cancel
synchronized recording.
CAUTION:
•
When
a component
(such
as
a
cassette
deck)
is
connected
to the TAPE 2 terminals
of
the amplifier, do not connect
the
SYNCHRO
terminals
of
such
component to any other
component with a remote
cable_
• Connect the remote cable
of
a
OAT
to the
COMPU
LlNK-1/SYNCHRO
terminals
of
this
unit.

Selection automatique
de
source
Si
le
cable
de
telecommande attache est utilise
pour
raccorder
cet apparei I
a d'autres appareils
JVC
avec
des
bornes COMPU
LlNK-l/SYNCHRO,
les
sources peuvent etre commutees avec
seulement un
effleurement
des
touches du selecteur de source
de
cet appareil et I'appareil correspondant commencera a lire
automatiquement,
La
touche
de
selection de source du
boltier
de telecommande ou
la
touche
d'activation
de
I'appareil
concerne peur
aussi
etre utilisee.
En
faisant
les
commutation
d'un
appareil a un autre,
comme
la
platine a cassette,
le
tourne-disque ou
le
lecteur de disque
compact,
I'arpareil
precedent s'arretera
de
lire qu'apres environ
cinq
secondes.
Enregistrement synchronise
L'enregistrement synchronise
se
rapporte
au
traitement
oll
la
platine a cassette commence
automatiquement
a enregistrer en
synchronisation
avec
le
lecteur
de
disque
compact
ou
le
tourne-disque.
Placer
la
platine
a cassette en mode de pause/enregistrement en
suivant
les
methodes decrites dans
le
manuel
d'instructions.
Pour synchroniser I'enregistrement
avec
le
lecteur
de
disque
compact,
appuyer
sur
la
touche
PLAY
sur
le
lecteur
de
disque
compact.
La
platine
a cassette entre dans
le
mode d'enregistrement
au
moment
ou le lecteur
de
disque compact demarre et I'en-
registrement synchronise commence
L'enregistrement synchronise s'arrete
automatiquement
quand
le
lecteur
de
disque
compact
s'arrete
de
lire.
Pour annuler I'enregistrement synchronise,
appuyer
sur
la
touche STOP du lecteur
de
disque· compact,
du
tourne-disque
ou
de
la
platine a cassette.
Remarques:
•
Si
le
mode
de
pause/enregistrement
est
obtelU
en
appuyant
sur
PAUSE
apres
avoir appuye
sur
les
tOllc::hes
R
EC
et
PLA
Y simultanement, I"enregistrement sYlchronise n'est
pas
possible. Pour
les
details,
se
reporter
au
manuel d'in-
structions
de
votre platine a cassette.
• Un fonctionnement anormal
se
produira
si
I"alimentation
de

des
appareils
est
interrompue

Si
cela
arrive, appuyer a Ilouveau
sur

touche d'activation pour repartir.
• S'assurer que
la
borne
COMPU
LlNK-1/lYNCHRO
de
chaque appareil
est
raccordee
avec
le
cabl~

tehicom-
mande fixe.
Bien lire
le
manuel d'instruction
de
chaque alpareil.
•
La
source
est
verrouilhie a
la
position

pendant I'enregistrement synchronise pour
eliter
des
arrtHes
accidentels
ou
des
changements
de
source. PC)tH changer
la
source, annuler d'abord I'enregistrement

ATTENTION:
•
Si
un appareil (comme une platine a cassettl)
est
raccorde
aux bornes TAPE 2
de
I'amplificateur,
ne
PIS raccorder
les
bornes
SYNCHRO
d'un tel appareil
avec
les
,LJ
tres appareils
avec
un cable de telecommande.
• Raccorder
le
cable
de
telecommande
du
rwagnetophone
audionumerique aux bornes
COMPU-LlN~-1/SYNCHRO
de
cet appareil.
