      Richard WileyJul 29, 2025
If the HDMI OUT terminal video isn't displaying on the monitor, ensure the 60/50 SEL setting in the SYSTEM [2/2] Menu screen matches the HD signal format. Verify that your monitor is compatible with video from the HDMI OUT terminal by checking its specifications. Alternatively, set MONITOR SELECT to HDMI[A] in the VIDEO Menu screen to automatically set the HDMI OUT terminal video to the video format for the connected monitor.

If there is no signal output from the IEEE1394 terminal during playback, check that the IEEE1394 switch on the front panel is correctly set to match the playback tape recording format. Also, when playing a tape recorded in HDV format, ensure that the HD signal format setting is correct.
