slack

cassette,

load
the
cassette
correctly.
Do
not
repeat
ioading
and
unloading
of
the
cassette
‘without
running
the
tape,

this will
slacken
the
tape,
causing
tape
damage.

opened
even
when

power
is

strip
to
expand
the
loop.

right
hand

grasp

length
of

strap

your

Start/Stop
button
and
power
zoom
buttons,

Velaro
strip.

adjusted

one
of
three
positions:
up,
middie
and
down.

zoom

switch
in
the
direction
of
the
arrow,
and
move
the
power

desired

ADJUSTMENT
Positioning
The
viewfinder
can
be
positioned
for
best
viewability
®.
Diopter
adjustment
The
viewfinder
lens
can
be
adjusted
to
suit
the
operator's
eyesight.

Set
the
power
switch
to"CAMERA".

Turn
the
diopter
adjustment
control
until
the
indications
in
the
viewiinder
are
clearty
focused.
SET THE
TAPE
LENGTH
‘The
tape
remaining
time
is
displayed
in
the
viewlinder
as
shown.
Before
shooting,
set
the
tape
fength.
select
switch
according
to
the
tape
being
used.

EC-30:When
using
a
tape
with
20-minute
recording
time
or
less.

When
using
a
tape
with
recording
fime
more
than
30
minutes.

OPERATION

pause,
set
the
power
switch

"OFF"
to
save
power.

When
a
tape
teaches
its
end
during
recording,
°TAPE
END®
indicator
will
appear
in
the
viewfinder
and
power
itself
off
automatically
if
left
for
longer
than
5
minutes.
If
the
Record-Standby
mode
continues
for
longer
than
about
5
minutes,
the
unit
switches
itseff
off
automatically.
To
restart
recording,
tum
the
power
on
and
press
the
Recording
StarVStop
bution.
This
makes
clean
assembied
recordings
possible
even
after

long
pause.

VideoMovie
with
the
power
switch
set
to
CAMERA’,
