  If you can't hear sound from the speakers of your JVC Car Receiver, first, ensure that the volume isn't set too low; adjust it to a suitable level. Then, verify that all connections are correct. If the issue persists, the built-in microcomputer may have malfunctioned due to external interference. Try resetting the unit by holding the SEL button and pressing it for more than 2 seconds. Note that this will erase your preset adjustments.

  If your JVC Car Receiver displays “NO CD”, it could be due to several reasons. First, check that there are discs in the magazine and that they are inserted correctly (not upside down). Ensure that the discs are playable by the unit. Also, verify that the magazine is properly loaded into the CD changer. Confirm that the unit is correctly connected to the CD changer; if needed, press the reset button on the CD changer. If problems persist, try resetting the unit by holding the SEL button and pressing it for more than 2 seconds.

  If the SSM (Strong-station Sequential Memory) automatic preset is not working on your JVC Car Receiver, it might be because the signals are too weak. In this case, try storing stations manually. Also, ensure that the antenna is firmly connected to the receiver.
