What to do if the JVC Remote Control LCD display keeps displaying "NOW INITIALIZING JUST A MOMENT" or "PLEASE CHECK THE CAMERA"?

  If the LCD display shows "NOW INITIALIZING JUST A MOMENT" or "PLEASE CHECK THE CAMERA", check if the cables are connected properly. Also, verify that the power switches of both the RM-P210 and the camera are turned ON, and ensure that the MODE (RM/VTR) switch on the camera adapter is set to “RM”.

Why is the JVC RM-P210 Remote Control tally lamp not lighting?

  The tally lamp may not light because the tally system of the RM-P210 is not compatible with that of the camera system. By default, the RM-P210 is set to “make contact mode”. If the “voltage supplied mode” is required, the internal circuitry should be changed by a JVC-authorized service agent (at a charge).
